Went out into the woods today. The snow was looking incredibly beautiful, like it was trying to show me it’s best side. While I was walking around, exploring, I wasn’t surprised why there are so many legends and stories about forests. They draw you in and make you want to go deeper and deeper. Strangely grown trees, unknown sounds, wild animals (though I didn’t see any today): all that was and still is more that enough inspiration for great stories and fashion.
“I want to know how deep the forest really is. I know it’s dangerous, but I want to see – and feel – what kind of a danger lies ahead, how dangerous it really is. I have to. Something is shoving me forward.”
— Haruki Murakami (Kafka at the Shore)

oh! i love the forest, i practically grew up in the forest behind my house… but i have to admit, the snow is killing me. i cant see the beauty in it anymore, and it is too cold. it has been like -10 degrees the last month and it has been snowing almost each day. i mean, you can barey walk in the woods anymore because of the deep snow…
