First of all, thanks for all the comments and feedback you gave me for the last couple of entries. I am always happy to hear from my readers and will get back to you as well. The past weeks have been pretty busy for me, but it’s getting better now.
I must admit that currently I am really in love with 70s chic. Away from studs and bold neon colours on to softer colour palettes ( → Chloe Fall 2006 ) and flowing textiles. Bring on flowers, wood and (faux) leather. Here goes my inspiration board:

I love Genevieve Jones, but I hope overalls never come back into style. I do, however, adore the style of the 60s and 70s and am glad that there will hopefully be other options other than the revisited big shoulder pads and studs trend from the 80s.

das dritte von unten mit den blumentöpfen hat ganz viel stimmung – ich bin mit dir total einer meinung, dass wir die 70s als inspiration sehen sollten.
weißt du wie lange das 80s revival schon geht? fing das nich mit mieze von mia an?

Ok, wegen dir musste ich nochmal “Hugriges Herz” von Mia ausgraben. Meiner Meinung nach das beste Lied von Mia, aber so viel dazu…
Ich weiß nicht ob man Mia Mieze für den globalen 80s Hype verantwortlich machen kann, aber da ist was dran. Das Musikvideo hatte eine charmante Nena-ästhetik (minus Achselhaare versteht sich).Aber ich denke wir verdanken das alles Herrn Decarnin von Balmain. Er hat das mit den Schultern so logetreten. Aber ehrlich habe ich irgendwie genug davon…
