Kirsten Dunst out and about. It’s Autumn guys, I mean Northern Hemisphere! Time to let some kites fly. Actually I did discover my old kite today. Might try it out with my little brother some time soon. Despite my blog name it’s been ages since I last let one fly.

Milk – Signe » Just putting up her link for the sake of it; after all most of you know this blog already. Love it’s attitude and grunginess.
Gilles Krivich » Love the images, the flair. A must for everyone who has a soft spot for the black & white.
Mikuchu » A wonderful blog I discovered only yesterday. I really loved the quote from “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle” and I am slowly reading through older posts. I usually never do that :)
I am actually quite fond of this song and video. Funky, fresh and not boring at all. One of my favourite moments of the video: The faxes shooting out of the fax machine saying: No! Loved that little thing. Couldn’t find out who directed this, though. Hmm.
Next time: Arise Promise of Africa Collective Spring/Summer 2010 & Yasemin’s new blog I designed for her! (This link still leads to her old blog)

My head is throbbing; I’ve got a cold. Rainbows soothe my soul and make me smile. Why is there no Marc by Marc Jacobs Store here? I love the special items so much!
“When we speak positively and refrain from evil speech, we surround ourselves with more and more positive energy, therefore sustaining our spiritual growth. Conversely, when we speak negatively about others, our words stay with us wherever we go, blocking our happiness.” – Goop Newsletter, 16th April 2009

Laura Laine for Zara Summer 2008

Laura Laine for Rad Hourani Spring/Summer 2009

Laura Laine for Muse Magazine Issue 17
In the early stages of fashion journalism, before mannequins and models even existed, the only way for a tailor to showcase his clothes was through illustartions. Particularly the 20s are known for their beautiful creative and outstanding works of art. Laura Laine is a fashion illustrationist of our time whose models could easily compete with those of flesh and blood. I seriously like their attitudes. You can visit her portfolio to see more of her art.
I have been drawing a little lately, nothing that could be compared to her illustrations, though. Maybe I’ll post them sometime soon. I hope you all have a great week and be sure to hear from me soon.
